Somali Famine

My people are dying, straggling financially and emotionally and are starving to death and this is the worst in 60 years. They walk miles just to get to the Kenya boarder where they can set up tenants, get registered for food and health care. Children and babies are hit the hardest and few make it alive to the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya. It's getting worse and the numbers of people arriving are rising even though it's not enough. It’s very painful to see children who are malnourished and the tragic that parents have witnessed. They are exhausted, lonely and desperate since they have to deal with all these tensions by themselves with no male protection or support. This is way more than drought these include the need for protection, shelter and healthcare. They are getting help but there are high risks and potential consequences.
